Tips & tricks

It’s going to be a hot day. We kindly ask you to bring your own water bottle, hydration belt, or small backpack for the course. You can refill it with filtered BRITA water at the BRITA water point on Beursplein, both before and after the event.
Also: protect yourself from the sun—wear a cap and apply sunscreen before the start. Additional sunscreen will also be available on Beursplein.

Refreshments

Due to the heat, additional refreshment points will be provided along the 7 km and 12 km routes. At refreshment point 1, everyone will receive an extra bottle of Powerade to take along and stay hydrated during the run.

7 km

  • 🥤 refreshment 1 (at 1.7 km): BRITA water and Powerade
  • 🫗 refreshment 2 (at 3.9 km): water
  • 🍪 refreshment 3 (at 5.3 km): BRITA water, salty biscuits and wine gums

12 km

  • 🥤 refreshment 1 (at 2.8 km): BRITA water and Powerade
  • 🫗 refreshment 2 (at 7.2 km): water
  • 🍪 refreshment 3 (at 8.8 km): BRITA water, salty biscuits and wine gums


Reusable cups will be provided at all refreshment points. Take your time to drink and feel free to have your cup refilled.

It will be a warm day on Sunday, so listen carefully to your body. Slow down or walk if needed.
There is no time registration, so enjoy your discovery experience to the fullest.

Remember that the emergency number can be found on the back of your bib.
Do you need help or do you see someone who needs assistance? Let us know right away.

From 8:00, you can collect your race number and T-shirt on Beursplein.
Please bring your e-ticket, which you received by email after registration.

Registered via a group? You will receive your race number through your group leader.

  • Start wave 1 – 9:00
  • Start wave 2 – 9:20
  • Start wave 3 – 9:40
  • Start wave 4 – 10:00
  • Start wave 5 – 10:20


The last wave starts at 10:20. Due to the heat, you are allowed to start in an earlier wave, regardless of the wave you originally registered for.

Please note: collect your T-shirt before your start, as the T-shirt stand closes at 13:00.

The course takes you past unique locations. In total, eleven venues will open their doors—discover them here!

The course is not fully closed to traffic. Please run on the pavement as much as possible where traffic is still allowed. Follow the instructions of our stewards and respect traffic regulations.

We strongly recommend using public transport.

For easy travel in Brussels, consult MIVB or SNCB.

There are no lockers or changing rooms, but you can leave your sports bag in the supervised baggage zone.
Please note: loose clothing or plastic bags will not be accepted. Bring a closed (sports) bag.
